The atmosphere becomes so thick with smoke and fuel vapors, that it creates the illusion of looking through water. Only the warm light from the blazing header flames adds the contrasting colors to the blue image. As evidenced by this bird as it streaks through the darkness on wings-of-fire, no other form of motorsports can equal the sheer spectacle of nighttime Drag Racing.
