"GROUND POUDERS" at Pomona !

This is one of the latest paintings I did from my Bob Wagner photo collection. This scene is 1967 Pomona Winternationals, featuring, Gerry the "HUNTER" Glen driving the Andre & Trapp car, and Gary Allen is the far lane driving the "Walton & Allen car from St Paul, Minn.

The 67 Winternationls featured a 32 car Top Fuel field. Glen's car qualified number 12 and Allen's car was 28th in the field.

This certainly is an awesome piece of Top Fuel history, and a "Must-Have" for those collectors of front motored memorablia...I Love the way this painting turned out, it's one of the better old Top Fuel images I've seen! ...Thanks DCP
