Dick Loehr's 1966 Ford Mustang "Stampede" A/FXer.

"Dick Loehr may have been from Michigan, but this Stang was built on the West Coast. This 21'foot long Mustang is the creation of "Race Car Specialties," "Cal-Automotive" and Doug Kruse. However, the car was painted in Detroit, by the Alexander Bros. and featured this brilliant Candy-Tangerine and Silver paint scheme...With it's 121" wheelbase, an injected 427 SOHC engine (who's oil pan was two inches off the ground) this super-stretched stang recorded times in the 8.80s at close to 170mph.

This is really a "Classic" Drag Racing painting,,,of a truely beautiful car!
