In 1986, Mike Dunn smoked the tires to Win the US Nationals, over a breaking Billy Meyer...This Firenza of Pisano's was by far the most popular car on the west coast. Team Pisano, always noted for they're beautifully painted Funny Cars, made no exception here, as Bill Carter did the paint work on this beautifull Firenza.
In this painting by DCP, we see the car doing a burnout prior to the final run. As was stated, the actual race, looked very much like this burnout...But as they say, "a Win is a Win no matter ugly it is!"
