Customer Service SKU: 010 (PLEASE IGNORE THE SHOPPING CART IN THIS GALLERY! THIS IS JUST A "CHEESIE" WAY,"TO USE THESE GALLERIES FOR THE LATEST NEWS AND UPDATES).. Hi Everyone ! HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a Great Holiday Season, I sure did. Welcome to my New Prostore...This site is dedicated to my Drag Racing Fine Art Prints,,,if you wish to view my design work, please visit DesignTechGraphics.Com... I’ve been locked in the studio for the last few weeks just painting my little fingers off. I even had to replace my main airbrush (I actually wore it out) after 25 years of continuous work. This event, is most likely the cause of all the weird weather we’ve had this winter (it snowed in Malibu Beach yesterday). I can’t imagine how many gallons of paint I’ve sprayed through that airbrush. I built hundreds of models with it (spraying lots of lacquer). I also illustrated thousands of cars with it, and it has been the prime mover behind all my fine art paintings. What is this fabulous airbrush you may be asking? Simple, a Paasche “H” model single action gun. In the world of professional Airbrush Artists, this gun is considered a beginners tool. Other Airbrush Artists laugh at me when I tell them I use it. I do own, and have experimented with all the High Tech airbrushes, but to me, they are all pretty useless (Especially if you paint for 8 to 10 hours a day like I do). Try painting everyday for 25 years with a $500.00 Iwata Airbrush. In that amount of time, you would have purchased a garage full of replacement parts, and would have spent half your time just cleaning the gun…No Thanks! Ok, so much for paying homage to my old friend, now I can get back to what’s been happening. I’m not sure how many new pieces we’ve added to our series since my last update? The Skip Hess and Ron Capps paintings are a couple of the latest. Skip was real happy with the painting of his Great little Anglia. As for the Capps Charger…I have always been a big Mopar fan, and since this new Charger is one of the hottest funny car bodies I’ve seen in a long time, so I just had to do a painting of it. Right now I’m in the process of finishing up 6 new pieces, the “Smirnoff” Top Fueler from 1967, Doug Thorley’s “Chevy 2 Much,” Dick Harrell’s “Nicky Nova,” Pisano, winning Indy in 86, Mark Oswald in 86, and Dale Pulde’s beautiful Somerset from 86… I hope you will all email me with your suggestions of cars that you would like to see me do at: Davidcarlpeters@aol.com. The Collector’s Show at the NHRA World Finals was lots of fun…we had Tom McEwen and Roland Leong sign some Artist Proofs for us (which we sell on ebay). Also, Raymond Beadle signed 3 A/Ps for our “B Max at the O.C.” print. These will be very collectable, and are very rare indeed. Please checkout all of our galleries when you get a chance, and remember we love to hear your comments and suggestions…if you like the site, please tell your friends. For those of you that have website businesses, you know how hard it is to get traffic to your site. So please help me spread the word about this site! If you have any comments or questions please let me know…Thanks for your time, and have Great 07…..DCP
