Billy "The Kid" Scott was a Southern California terror in his beautiful Gas Dragster. This scene is from Riverside Raceway circa 1966. As seen in this overhead shot, Billy is lined almost on the edge of the track where there is very little rubber. In those days the racers needed raw pavement to try and get some traction.
