Well 2011 was a year I would like forget as soon as possible, as we had a medical emergency in the family, and that situation, besides being incredibly stressful, took most all of time. I only produced about 6 or 7 new pieces the whole year, and you can see these in “Latest Prints in the Shop.”

            2012 is shaping up to be an incredible year, as I find myself on the verge of getting married for the first time.in my life.  I’m marrying a woman who has been my Best Friend for the last decade, and she is without a doubt the Love of My Life!  

            The paintings I did do this last year are my “Most Detailed,” more akin to a Landscape painting, only Hot Rodded a bit. Paintings like “Winter’s a Gas!” ”Longhorn and the Mule,” and “The Milkman and the Goa,t” took weeks each to completel, and I think they are my favorite pieces to date...           

My book project is being compiled now, so maybe this year we’ll get there… Stay Tuned!!!!! The best is yet to come!                                                            DCP
