This is a tribute to NHRA’s 5 Time Top Fuel World Champion Joe Amato, and was originally released as "Portriat of a Champion, in an Edition of 500 prints, signed by Amato and DCP back in 1993. The original prints (24" x 31") are still available for $50 ea. This is such a great photo-realistic image, that we just had to ad it to our "Classic-Centerspread" series.

Captured here in his Full-Dress Blues, Joe won the coveted World Championship in: 1984,’88, ‘90, ‘91, ‘92.

This (photo-realistic) painting depicts Joe doing a burnout in the car that delivered him his 5th Championship in 1992. Also, there is the inset of him sitting in his 1993 livery getting ready to defend his Championship at the 93 Winter Nationals.
